The Stop, Shop, and Save supermarket is partnering with the Baltimore
Healthy Stores project to provide and promote healthier choices.

Baltimore Healthy Stores posters that hang in the supermarket windows
promote the idea that you can eat healthy and not have to spend
a lot of money.

Inside the store, BHS team members set up for a Red Beans &
Rice cooking demonstration. The intervention is promoting higher
fiber foods like beans, which are also inexpensive and easy to prepare.
Shelf labels, like this one, will help shoppers identify healthy
choices. This label indicates that tuna packed in water is lower
in fat than tuna in oil. The team presented an easy tuna cakes
recipe for the second in-store cooking demonstration and test taste.
